Creating a composition from within our imagination can be daunting - sometimes we don't know where to start.

 Jo teaches the art of structured composition - within these boundaries, the student finds a safe place from which to begin the creative process while learning the various forms which composers throughout the ages have used in creating their own works - as well as encouraging and developing free composition.

Generally Jo will incorporate Composition into her Piano Lessons along with Theory/Musicianship and Aural Development as part of a well-rounded musical education as well as offering Composition as a separate and individual area of study.
